SHOW TO BRING NIGHTLIFE TO THE STAGE
A New and Exciting Nightclub in the Spirit of the Moulin Rouge

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NEW YORK CITY - Introducing a unique combination of dancing, live musicians, DJs, performance artists, cabaret, vaudeville and trapeze artists, SHOW, New York's most anticipated nightlife venue located at 135 West 41st Street (between 6th Avenue & Broadway), brings New York nightlife to the stage. Under new ownership and following a $__ million renovation, the 6,000-square-foot nightclub (formerly Saci), has been redesigned by Norman Gosney to reflect the style and history of "Moulin Rouge" Paris, the Victorian-era, the cabarets of Weimar Germany and American Vaudeville.

Innovative in conceptualized design, Gosney, who has designed legendary nightclub hot-spots such as Gold in Tokyo and New York's The Whirl, Tunnel and Slipper Room, will introduce a unique atmosphere with an unrivaled interior and a distinct stage as the centerpiece. In a visually stunning setting outfitted in deep red and gold colors to emphasize extravagance and luxury, SHOW will boast state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems that will enhance the nightclub experience.

At the main room's center will be a distinct 26' x 16' stage that, unlike any New York City off-Broadway venue, will be both a Proscenium (theater) and a Thrust stage (Vegas style). An unrivaled sound and lighting system that includes theatre lights, vintage follow-spots restored from the 1940's and modern robo-scan lights will enhance the nightclub's surroundings. In addition to song and dance spectaculars highlighted by Wednesday nights' vaudeville extravaganza "Norman's Big Night Out," the stage will also host concerts featuring the hottest recording artists and fashion shows for leading designers.

"We have created a unique experience that will offer the hottest music and dancing in conjunction with spectacular entertainment on the stage," said Gosney. "Our mission is to entice a new generation to enjoy tantalizing and provocative cabaret and vaudeville performances on New York's best off-Broadway stage, in a nightclub setting. With that in mind that we chose a décor that reflects time periods known for over-the-top opulence and lavishness."

The tri-level space will hold 600-people and feature seating focused toward the stage as well as in multiple VIP rooms. Seating in the main room will form a semi-circle around the stage and dance floor, allowing the audience to become part of the show. An elevated platform, complete with bar directly across from the stage, will offer a secluded area for revelers to enjoy the surroundings. Two VIP skyboxes flown above the platform will provide panoramic views of the entire room. Additional tables with a separate sound system located in SHOW's private VIP mezzanine, above the stage, will offer patrons a unique view of performances and dancing while enjoying a luxurious and exclusive nightlife experience.

SHOW's furniture, inspired by the lavish Victorian-era, will be covered in red, gold and black stripes and opulently lit by silk lamps. The luscious red velvet walls will be covered by deep red drapery and accentuated with amber mirrors.

SHOW's timeless theme will also be reflected by the wait-staff uniforms complete with costumed stage hands, waiters in red and black striped jerseys, black pants and page-boy hats and waitresses outfitted in red and white bustiers, mini-bustles, pink stockings, black pumps and above-the-elbow black gloves without fingers.

Throughout his career, Norman Gosney has been at the forefront of the nightlife and entertainment world. He first opened the UFO Club in London, where Pink Floyd was the house-band. He has since served as Creative Director at P-1 in Munich (Europe's largest nightclub), Hell (South Beach) and New York's Danceteria, Mars and Palladium, among others. He is also a founder of England's Glastonbury Festival, a yearly event that draws musical acts from all over the world who perform to benefit various environmental charities. Past performers have included Joan Baez, David Bowie, Peter Gabriel, Van Morrison, Jackson Browne, The Cure, Lenny Kravitz, Oasis, Radiohead and Sting.
